Larry,

Thank you for the offer. I have a Sonor SQ2 bop kit which is modern. Don't hate me guys but man I dig that Canopus Yaiba bop series. Some nice tubs.

This thread is just in time! Since this kit on my local CL looks similar to the OP's Gretsch, can anybody say what a realistic price range would be?http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/msg/5706043680.html

Believe it or else!

He conveniently did some poor photography, particularly the shots of the snare drum. $5k seems a bit high. How about $2800 with all the hardware and cymbals??

$5k for that kit is WAY too high. Even $2800 is too high. To me it looks like a 13 16 20. I bought a rough 13 16 20 with hardware, cymbals and a 4160 snare for $700. In good condition maybe a 13 16 20 will fetch about $1500. If those are old turkish K's then I guess $2800 is a good deal but for me I would not pay more than $1k for that kit. If it has K's then maybe more. There is also no snare.

Long story short I would sell my 12 14 20 with a 4x14 for $5k all day long :)
