New to VDF and vintage drums, but.... Last viewed: 4 hours ago

been playing for years. My kit as of lately has been an '06 Ludwig Classic Maple in champagne sparkle (which I love), but I recently purchased a '63 Ludwig WMP Super Classic kit from VDF member 'teenagebrain' and am super stoked to have it! Just gave the shells and the chrome a little polishing and they look and sound great! I hear from teenagebrain that he also located the matching Supraphonic snare for this kit...so I'm pretty sure I need to get that from him. All serial numbers on this kit are super low 4 digit and in the 1000-2000 range! Just wanted to introduce myself. Hopefully I attached the pic correctly....

That's a bass stop. It has pointy pointy thingys that keep the bass from creeping away during your twenty-four minute solo.

Thanks for the welcome, OldSchool and thanks for the explanation, RogerSling. My drum solos usually last like 24 seconds...but nonetheless the bass stop still functions the same and I think looks killer on vintage drums! More pics to come...
