Thanks for all the feedback! I'm really happy with where this band is going. The name is "Over Easy", Kevin. And Michel, Yup, I sold the NEW 9/72's and picked up this '76 Big R kit in Montreal. It was a slow month, I needed rent and a project to keep me occupied....and no matter how hard I tried to like white drums I'm much happier in black! The Memri-loc hardware might not be as pretty as the Swivo stuff, but it's rock-solid and well thought out. I'm gonna try & not flip this one for a while. I rented this kit out to do a show with Vieux Farka Touré recently and when I heard it through the PA I thought to myself that that is how I like drums to sound. Not bad for 250 Cdn plus gas!
