Hey Guys... This forum is going to take a little getting used to. I know I'm supposed to post in the introduction forum but I can't find it?Lame LOL

Anyways... I'm Flossie (yes female haha), I've been drumming since I was probably around eight years old. My family is in a Gospel singing group and I have traveled and been playing music all my life. Grew up singing under my moms Piano ( always been a little shy haha ). I'm definitely not great or amazing or anything like that but I love playing. My ministry comes first but I would like to learn more about drums and sound a little better. Anyways I have 2 kits a 5 piece purple metallic yamaha yes advantage kit and the real reason I am here my 7 piece amber ludwig vistalite set. My vistalites need some work and I'm here for some help and advice :) I'm sure I will be posting some threads with some questions pretty soon but for now just wanted to say hey and let everyone know who I am :)D' Drummer

Please do Ignore my Messy music room! LOL

I have been playing around with these drums the last few days. I had mufflers in all the the toms but seeing the are concert toms that's probably NOT what they need :)

Welcome to the forum.

Can't tell in detail what kind of shape they in from the pics, the most tedious endeavor is buffing out scratches in the shells, there are people on here who can advise you.

Nice to see you have the matching snare, those are pretty scarce.

Back in the day there was not near as many clear heads to choose from, now there is all kinds that you can experiment with.

I would not muffle them either.

Beautiful vistalite kit. I love vistalites I have 3 sets myself, blue, green and red. They sound great with no mufflers by the way. Welcome to the forum.
