Purdie: good stuff. The trio sounds perfect for "gettin' the lead out" whereabouts do you live? I used to live in Stony Point, NY when I played rock in the 70's. The Dave Mell Blues Band sounds cool. Love to catch their show sometime. Last time I played a gig was too long ago. Feelin the itch that's gotta be scratched. Thanks for the welcome!

Hello Hugh! good to see you on VDF.

To everyone else, Hugh is a great person, I got to know him recently from the Rogers Owners Forum. Hugh so kindly offered me a badge for my Koa Rogers project. I will be putting his on my bass drum in a few weeks.

The others are correct, this is a very good forum with lots of very nice people. a few goofballs here but thats normal.

See ya around, and now you have to show your kit!

I'm in the middle of Illinois, by Springfield. I was brought to this site by Alex

(Funky Crime). I sold him the champagne Club Date. Just retired from my job and am looking forward to spending more time in my drum business.

> whereabouts do you live?

Last 6 years, Reading, PA. Born and raised in Manhattan (Washington Heights, just the other side of the GW Bridge.) My only ventures into NJ when I was growing up was, Palisades Park and the pool just across the bridge in Paramus. Played a ton of gigs all over NJ in the late 60's/early 70's. After awhile, all those bars and towns start to look the same, but I do recall playing in Camden, Newark, Point Pleasant, (on a pier by the beach,) and Tom's River. There were others, I just don't recall the names of the places or towns... so long ago.

Does the name; Charlie Padro ring a bell with you?

Good to have you aboard, man. Post some shots of your kit.

John

Too many great drums to list here!
