Hello all.. I am a newbie member although I have been visiting the site for quite a while now and I have learned so much that I often find myself in awe and envy of the vast amount of knowledge that passes thru this site each day. I am passionate in my love of music both listening and playing. I am 40 years old and my father I am proud to say taught me how to play when I was 5. I am happy to now be a member and not just a vintage drum forum stalker... Thanks Roxy

Never fear- hang around long enough and you'll not only witness vast amounts of knowledge, but a bit of foolish shenanigans and tom foolery, as well.

Welcome to the forum.
I did about the same thing -- actually joined up and monitored the threads for MONTHS before I ever posted much. Even though I have years of experience in playing and rebuilding/restoring/refurbishing, I too was a little "awe-struck" with the knowledge available here. Took me awhile to feel "worthy" I guess.
Now some people probably wish I'd stayed "quiet"... :)
