Well I went to the pile of drums. It was mostly junk. All the metal snares were no name chinese, but the Luddy butcher block were cool. Sizes 24-18-13 no legs or tom mount and 2 badges missing. I had to have them so I twisted off and bought em' He was asking 250. I ended up getting then for $120 and Zildjian cymbal and a snare stand for $10. ! Blue olive pointy badge. That explains the other 2 missing badges. Ludwig started rounding off the corners of the badges because the pointy ones got caught on everything, so the just pulled them off. look like the serial number is 1763139. What yr are these?

This guy found all this in a dumpster. He said someone else beat him to it and got all the good stuff. Heres what he had left after me. A bunck of no badge chrome snares. Most likely chinese
I found the red sparkle drums the same day and heres the back of my truck. My daughter is driving around town with all of it in the back of my Yukon XL lol

Amazing what you can find on CL. That's how I scored my Mapleworks kit. Popped up for $350! Got there quick! Sold the hardware on CL next day for $110, so I was in to the kit for $240. New heads, complete disassembly, light sanding and re-coat of satin poly. About 35 hours of labor, and I had a $1500 maple drum kit that sounds AMAZING!

10"x7" tom, it was done first. Chrome cleaned up amazing!
That guy called me last night. He wants $10 for all the stuff he has left. I cant resist it. What can I make out of all those cheap chrome snare shells? I guess I can strip all the lugs and mufflers. Or I can make a column for something. Maybe make some barstools? That might work?
Put them together and give them to some kids that don't have drums.
