What did a set of those North drums sell for new? Something the size of the kit pictured here? Were those 80's drums or later? I wouldn't mind having a set of those someday. I like BLT's on untoasted white bread too. LOL

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

There's always a place for a flame design, and these look like they were well executed. Too bad the finish was applied to a set that typically sells for around a third of this asking price. Kind of like polishing a steaming pile, and this seller is in for a rude awakening.

Not really sure why someone would "trick them out" or make them "totally custom" when the drums in and of themselves are truly unique.

Since this has taken a food turn, this reminds me of a "Guy Fieri" drumkit. I don't really watch his show, but he just strikes me as a guy who is trying waaaaay to hard to be "cool" and "hip". Just like this kit. It was already cool and hip, but now it's trying to look like it is.

Wow. . . . at least whomever did the work did a GREAT QUALITY JOB. Incorporating the original white is perfect. . . Whew. The paint job alone may have cost that much. I would not own these but I think they are damn cool!!

Or . . . hot electricit
