Jeff - my apologies, when I wrote the post my poor THC addled brain confused you with Gary. (who lives in B.C.)

As for a good teacher: may I recommend, Mai Ling, who has played with more organs than Zsa Zsa Gabor! :D lol

LMAO John! Yup, good ole' Mai... I didn't ever meet her, but I sure knew her sis... Ding A...

Um...

Okay, and, for our next act.

Jeff! That is one gorgeous hunk -o- wood! Nice find! And, you know it is related to a piano, kinda... which is a percussive instrument. So...

Oh yeah, one other thing... Is that a pump organ? I understand that the Ling family is well versed with those. At least her sister was...

Just one of those things I saw and had to have I guess. The dang thing is really interesting, you can get a hundred different tones by pulling out the reed knobs( thats what we will call them) and pushing them in. It sounds great, I spent about a half hour making creepy sounds. Too bad we dont get trick or treaters here, heck, I would be playing creepy sounds everytime the doorbell rang. Makes me want to watch one of my old favorite movies, The ghost and mr chicken with Don Knotts. Having too much fun over here!

And ya John, funny stuff. I knew you would be the first to crack a organ joke!

Thank you!
