Not vintage, but my new kit. Last viewed: 3 hours ago

After playing many wonderful kits over the years from a variety of manufacturers and decades, I finally bought myself a brand new kit.

I traded my Sonor Maple's in on these:

Congrats. I have a 2012 Gretsch Renown and I love it too.

In my opinion hands down Gretsch is the making the best and most affordable kits out there today of the big name manufacturers.

That is one classy kit. The Catalinas used to be a decent looking kit but Gretsch has improved all lines they make. Especially visually.

Well, you might want to lay low when the Sonor crowd sees this, but, man, that is one fine looking set of drums, Congrats! If they sound anything near what they look-warm & woody-toned, you are one fortunate guy. ENJOY. Dean Heck

Thank you all :)

This is the "New" Catalina Club series. Mahogany Shells.

Im still getting used to the tonal difference between maple and mahogany, but they sound wonderful.

That looks like right out of the 50's! Gretsch really nailed it with that one!

Catalina Club eh? You got me thinking!
