Novus & Vistalites? Does it work? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Going to be cleaning up my Bonzo kit tonight & I've never done anything but dust these drums.

Any suggestions for really cleaning the Vistalites?

Thanks all

If they have any swirls in them, Novus 2 will help out and make them look much better. I then use the Novus 1 to give them a final shine. I've never used the Novus 3 and probably wouldn't.

If there's minimal scratches, or even just want to clean them up, the Novus' are the way to go from my experience. I've restored a few vistalite kits and that's all I've used. When there's decent scratches you can get into wet-sanding...

Just my two pennies, I'm sure others will chime in.

Mike beat me to it..I've used Novus 3 in extreme moderation, but he's right, if you don't need it, don't use it :)

I've used #2 on my clear fibes shells.. Worked very well. It took 2-3

applications to get them where I like the finish. Then I used auto carnuba wax

and buffed-out.. Came out very well.

awesome. I knew I would find the answer here!

I have fresh bottles of Novus 1 & 2 I just picked up for the other kits.

Wasn't too sure for the vistas but it makes sense.

Thanks guys!

I have good luck with my vistalites using Novus 1&2 as Mike described. I tried Novus 3 and did not get good results.
