Help me out here, please. What's a fair price on an Oaklawn bop kit with these specs: 14"x18” kick, 8"x12” rack tom, 14"x14" floor tom, and 5"x14" Aristocrat snare--BUT all rewrapped (nicely) and touched-up interiors. I know folks love them some early Camcos, especially in those sizes, but what does the rewrap do to the value? Are Camcos still valued highly in spite of losing originality through a rewrap?

Original condition you would be looking at around $6k or more. Rewrap? I'm guessing around $3k or more.
I bought a re-wrapped Camco Oaklawn set in those exact sizes a few years ago (re-wrapped in green sparkle). Paid $3400 for them, played them for a year & sold them to fund a recording project. Was offered $3600 for them & off they went.

Thanks, DolFan and Cool Stuff. Are there any other brands that would hold their value that well even with a rewrap? I can't think of any.
The only one that I know of would be a Gretsch round badge set in those sizes.
