Mario, fantastic job on this resto of these beautiful drums.I can see them smiling in the pics, as you have put together a vintage set of amazing drums with tone that`s hard to match.Very cool that you have found a way to make the original grommets work and congrats on that as it sounds very tricky to do.Also thanks for the "Goof Off" tip on removing the logo, always wondered how you guys did that.Really nice set Mario and enjoy them on that first gig as i`m sure you will!!!

Oaklawn Camco's are bar-none some of the best sounding drums ever made. Great job on that kit. The new wrap even has a 'vintage' look to it, natural, like it's always been there. Enjoy them.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Sweet looking Camcos. Nice resto work. What did you use for the tom hoops?

Those are original Camco hoops on every drum.

Thanks Manny! The toughest part about these projects is actually the badge re-installation. Nobody makes grommets with an extremely small flange like Camco.

I found a dealer of repro Ludwig grommets that are very close to the originals.

Never play it the same way once.
