I recently acquired this gem with a bunch of beginner drums. A family got them from a church for their son to play. Apparently, they went unused and the mother put them on CL.

I have no clue what actual model is. Maybe someone can educate me on that part :)

The bad news....it's missing part of the throw, and butt. This is the single point version and I don't wanna drill on it just to make it functional.

I'm open to sell or trade it to someone who has the parts to finish it

..OR if you have the parts and are interested in selling them to me that would be cool too.

Here are a few pics

Thanks in advance for looking and throwing any knowledge my way! It's always appreciated!

The Geo. Way Drum Company (Dunnett's outfit) have done essentially a re-issue of the so-called beer tap strainer for the George Way new generation. Drop him a line and see if you can buy one.

Apparently it's called the "845 strainer" and here's a little about it:

I tried to order/buy two sets of the George Way 14" x 8Lug snare drum hoops and the Memphis drum shop quoted me 4 to 5 mo's on order. That was a shocker...

I've already tried several times to get George Way to sell me this strainer and butt. He did not even return the email!

That's a shame - when I emailed back and forth with him (admittedly some years back) he clearly saw that there was a market supplying after-market parts for Camco.

He's also repro-ed the tom leg mounts and actual legs - not that I think this would be a massive earner for him but certainly comparatively easy money if the parts are already made.

I think the reason he didn't return emails is... he is 6 feet under!LoLoLoLo
