It is still amazing that these are going for crazy prices. I mean, wasn't Ludwig making OBP wrapped drums like mad in the mid 1960s? ProDrum Shop requesting 365 kits from Ludwig in one order at one point? Logic says they should still be plentiful on the used market, albeit most in rather beatup condition.

I have seen that just about every OYSTER BLACK kit I have had has been in excellent shape...
