This is true. Yea I sent over my offer and still haven't heard back. My guess if they are expecting close to $600 for all three, they will think I'm trying to really low ball. Which - given the drums condition....yea. But I'm certainly not gonna go insane to get them. But It always kills me to see drums go like this. Especially good ones.

Well that's the blessing and curse of CL. Sometimes you come across a real find and sometimes you see something that really hurts your eyeballs (and your heart) .
That guy should be paying you to haul that lot away as trash.

Do the other toms have the same chrome wrap? Would you plan to rewrap/stain of try to finish as is? If your handy the woodworking end does not seem terrible. The rivets are kinda omg.....but it is what it is. Ludwig did it too so~! Cracks and holes are pretty straight forward to fix. B&B lugs can be a pain but the fix for the cracked lugs works very well. And they are pretty easy to find and normally cheap. Some of the other parts can get expensive. I spent some 2+ years doing the same thing. Was lucky the shell I started with were pretty nice. Just bare shells. Took my time and bought things as I could and found them. $100 would be nice if they accept your offer. I missed seeing those on CL. Anyway good luck and keep us posted!
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

I think it's best to just pay your respects to what was once a fine instrument.. RIP.. Violin
Btw--People who do that to drums as fine as those should be jailed, plain and simple..LoLoLoLo
The two things ( aside the actual damage to the drum ) that really get to me are this. One - they claim these drums have been re-wrapped, which I think we all know is fooey. And second - I know the term vintage can be used and they may be Rogers but condition dictates price. And 1-10 we know these barely hit 1. It's madness I say!
