Old school jelly bean kit!! Last viewed: 5 hours ago

Thought I might share my orphan rescue kit for the fun of it and maybe have you share yours also.

1920's NOB 6.5 X 15 snare found heavily caked with dirt.

1930's Slingerland RadioKing 16x16 floor found with severe amount of glued on rubbery wrap and sanded down original WMP wrap.

1940's early 50's Gretsch 14 X 26 WMP bass drum found painted black and then I stripped down to original wrap.

1950's WFL 10 X 14 tom found stripped of wrap.

1960's Rogers BDP 16 X 18 floor found once again painted black and then I stripped down to original wrap.

Lots of work but feels good to rescue some nice drums.

Hi Mike,

They do sound amazing. As my younger daughter would say to my wife,"is that thunder?"

Tuned low or cranked they have a wide range, gotta love Old drum making. Worth saving.
