Old Slingerland Drumset - looking for information help Last viewed: 9 minutes ago

Hello! My parents bought me a used Slingerland drumset about 25 years ago. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out about how old they are? Any other information would be welcome too. Thanks!

Kick: 20" Serial #131367

Rack Tom: 12" Serial #131393

Floor Tom: 16" Serial #186965

Snare (Ludwig): 14" Serial #1609366

Camber II Cymbals

- 20" Ride

- 16" Crash

- 14" Hi Hats

The Hi Hat stand, kick pedal, crash and ride stands are not original. I'm honestly not sure what happened to the original hardware but I can tell you that the original kick pedal and hi hat stand were made by SpeedKing.

Your Photobucket album is set as private, but from the above photo it appears to be Blue Agate Pearl finish, likely from the mid to late 1960's. It looks like they have the chocolate milk painted interiors. What color are the badges? Please change your Photobucket settings if possible.

Also, the snare drum is a 1970's Ludwig Supraphonic.

Looks like around 1966-68 to me, but cannot find those sizes in a cataloug kit.

Really nice kit, kept in good condition,,

1965 Slingerland Modern Jazz ordered with 16 floor vice 14. It was 6 dollars more to have the larger tom. A very nice kit.
