Can anyone help me with this. It is obvious from the holes patched in this drum (Leedy New Era) that this is not the original. Can someone point me in the right direction of what brand this might be and provide pics of what should be there?

To me thats a Gretsch butt side strainer or it could be a Camco butt side like in my post about the Camco snare on goodwill....Mikey

That looks like my Camco butt side,but the knob is wrong.Mine also has a spring incorporated into the design.

On second look-this is substantially different than my Oaklawn drum.The"T"is one piece,where mine is 3 pieces.Same idea,one single mounting point,different details.

I just saw an auction on EBay for one of these. It's listed as a Gretsch adjustable butt assembly or something like that.

OK, OK, it's a Gretsch Micro-Sensitive butt plate. I have watched this thread since day one and no one else has chimed in, so my limited knowledge is at least familiar with many parts and this is one I happen to be familiar with.

Well I put it up for sale and listed it as Gretsch, thanks for the help. Evidently the Gretsch guys know for sure according to the bids I've gotten since listing it Sunday at 6 P.M. PST....

I've never seen one like this before, it was actually on a Leedy New Era snare that I picked up off Craigslist. I love the Leedy shell, but this part didn't look like it belonged.

Any idea what snare it came off of? I had a Gretsch Max Roach, but I don't think that was on it.
