Orange Satin Stained Gretsch Shellpack Last viewed: 3 minutes ago

UPDATE - See todays post - $1600 - and I will pay 1/2 the shipping to Lower 48

Just sold the 50's Green Shellpack today to a nice chap in Finland.

I have these beauties left to sell:

$2150 USD

If someone from the Spokane area is interested in buying these drums I would offer to transport them across the boarder from B.C. to Oroville WA. State.

The cymbal stands & cymbals, other stands and pedals etc. do not come with the drums - the sale is for the drums only. The drums do include hardware, heads and badges and the bass drum Rail Mount and spurs do go with the drums.

1940's Gretsch drums:

24 bd/ 13 tom/16 floor tom & 6.5x14 Broadcaster snare drum with the "Super Structure"shell.

These drums are 'orphaned' shells. I personally stained (Satin finish) the shells to a close match to Gretsch's finish Burnt Orange. All the drums have era correct hardware including original badges - the 9x13 tom may have an early 50's badge. I tucked calfhide heads onto the original wood flesh-hoops on all the drums. The bass drum calfhide is very old - Ludwig Pioneer - probably from the 1930's.

I just put them on eBay yesterday

Gretsch 1940's Orphaned Drums - item 201300233205

Starting at $1650usd - BIN $2145

I will pay 1/2 the shipping OR if someone lives close enough to Oroville WA to drive there I will drive the drums from where I live in Kelowna BC Canada across the boarder for the handoff - saving shipping across the boarder.

$1600USD and I will pay 1/2 the shipping cost.

If anyone is interested and lives near Spokane WA and would rather not have them shipped I would be willing to transport them across the boarder from Canada into the USA and hand them over near Oroville WA USA......saves time and money.
