Hi Jesse,

Yeah, pix will be needed... if you can't get them to upload, try reducing their size and dpi. If you still can't get 'em to load, send them to me at: fishwaltz at fishwaltz dot com and I'll upload 'em for you, and maybe tell you why you couldn't upload them yourself.

Use the obvious conventions in my email.

And the last two. MIJ stencil kit. Late 60's or very early 70's. I think those are later 'Star' (Tama) lugs. Do a search on 'Star' drums on this site. One of the members (Ralf) has a very informative web site devoted to 'Star' drums. You can check the lug styles and see if they match.

Is that the original snare with a faded orange wrap?

Nice kit by the way, with proper heads and tuning they will be great!

i love the sound of them lol i just cant understand why they have no badges? and there is no sign of them being removed the kit is old the wood smells very aged!

i noticed the lugs on the snare and rack tom are solid bars connecting top and bottom rim . The Bass/Floor Tom have a different lug orientation? thats the snare i got with the kit i bought it off kijiji the bottom skin had a Tommy's music store Austin TX decal on it... how may i find Ralf?

From what I can see, the rack tom is a Pearl club date style drum, the bass and floor tom are Stars, and the snare is a ginger ale or Bermuda sand orphan. Not sure of the manufacturer of the snare without closer pics.

The Rack Tom is a Pearl? no badges hmm thought they had different lugs? I believe the snare is faded... may have been the orange color im very surprised if the rack tom is Pearl and the Bass/FT are Star there wrap color is so dead on! The Snare has a Ludwig Snare Switch ... i pretty sure it was added on after! Where can i purchase a Star Bass skin Decal lol

The snare and rack tom have identical lugs, and I believe are Pearl made. Remove a lug from the snare to see the original color and if it says Pearl inside.Same for the rack tom. Hoshino and Pearl most likely got their wraps at the same Wholesaler !i

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

.....76/#XK9207 Phonic Sound Machine D454/D-505 snares !i
