We ride as passengers w/ my parents every year in the Tomales Founder's Day Parade held on Labor Day weekend. This year I offered to drive one of my Dad's cars. I think my Dad really enjoyed having me drive one of his cars. It was a very special day for both of us.

Hey Steve,

"One" of your dad's cars? You mean there's more? WOW!!! The beauty of that vehicle is only matched by your incredible Camco and George Way collection! Thanks for sharing.

Although we all seem to enjoy our respective hobbies and/or collections the value of meaningful Father-Son bonding at any age is truly PRICELESS!

Great pic of you and "The Boss" BTW. It looks like everyone had a wonderful week-end!

That is a terrific looking car. You must have had a good time driving it in the parade. I think that my wife is so tolerant of my vintage drum collecting because she knows that the combined values of everything in my drum room cost me less than a car or motorcycle hobby. And, my drum room contains a few high dollar collector's quality drum sets in addition to several vintage sets of significant player's value along with a collection of vintage Zildjians that could fetch a bunch of bucks. I'm not bragging here. I'm just stating that my hobby is far less expensive to enjoy than cars, motorcycles, and some others.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Great shots Steve! My dad used to be an auto wholesaler in New York, so cars are in my blood too. But he never owned anything as cool and old as the stuff your dad collects. Great seeing those old machines. Must be a gas to drive one!

Your love of 'vintage' drums appears to be genetic...

John

Too many great drums to list here!
