I understand completely, Robyn! We've received so much snow in the last two days that I had to phone and cancel practice for tonight. Luckily, I still have beer in the fridge!

Just a messy mix here in the Buckeye state... snow, rain, ice, freeze, thaw, rain, snow, ice, slush, rain... five minutes of sunshine... cloudy... cloudy...

I think it's time to go drum searching in Florida!!

Same here in PA. And I know what you mean about jonesing for drums after a couple days lay-off. The plus side is, sometimes you -play better- when coming off a short layoff!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Jeez, Rod, I guess I really am transparent. How did you guess my nationality, hey?

Robyn, my buddy just emailed stating that his friends' flight was cancelled out of Buffalo and that the aeroport (airport, LOL) was a mess! I can certainly understand. I'm just across Lake Erie from Buffalo. John is a VERY wise man. We should heed his advice. After a short layoff, we'll be energized and ready to go! Stay warm, young lady!

i may of had to take a cup'l days away from my drums but i dang well garantee you that was the 1st path i dug thru the snow, to my girl cave to make sure the snow didn't get to my stuff. all is good, just a lit'l cold out there and affraid to bang on stuff, don't want to break anything and not sure how good it would be to fire up the PA in the cold. anyway, john is right...its good to step away for a break, i actually amase myself when i do get back on them.

We had our first real snow yesterday/last night here too. 9" of snow with a nice thick layer of ice on top. Was lucky it warmed up enough to make it slushy. So we could shovel out. Yes I'm already very tired of the snow this year!! Ha! I don't drink so I'll stick to my vegetables. :D
