Hi everyone I am in the market for a new used snare I have a lead on a pacific snare it looks like it is 6.5 x 14 in the pic but owner says it is 6.0x14 it appears to be brass is it just brass coated or a real brass shell it is the sx series and I can not seem to find much info on it is it any good thanks

The SX came two ways. One was hammered brass that was a 5x14, the other was straight brass it came in 6x14. True brass shell, not coated. Not a bad drum but before you buy inspect the shell. They tend to be thinner shelled, and some were notorious for bulging, or not being in the round.
