Sorry for your loss Gary. Thank God we've got our drums! Been my vehicle to drive out of angst on more than one occassion. Just two years ago - my son lost a 14 yr. old buddy. Never played an angrier CSN&Y Four Way Street "Southern Man"! Be well.

I don't recall us talking about it before, but it's true. There have been times when I was upset, angry, or down about something and hitting the drums hard for a bit really helped me to feel better, to blow off steam. Drums are -very- therapeutic!
Think about it, how many people actually get to 'hit something' when they need to the most? Drummers! We're lucky that way. Whenever we need a little therapy all we have to do is sit down at the drums, let the energy flow and leave it all 'on the field'.
