1965/66 Sparkling silver Super Classic with an extra 16" floortom!
Original heads, white felt baseball bat mufflers, date stamps, clockface consolette, legs and Spurs.
They already sold the Supraphonic, when I found them. They had them sitting in the window! Fortunately it's been overcast the past few days.
Very cool. Joe Morello's favorite color for that same kit, minus one of the floor toms. It looks to be in excellent condition. Great find.

Yeah, I almost wet myself when I first saw it because I thought it had a 14" floortom.
No it's a 16" stick caddy/towel rest like on Buddy's kits.

That is one beautiful kit. I've never had good luck at Pawn Shops on vintage drums. I hope you did well. They all seem to think anything made earlier than 1980 is worth $2000+. Most recently, I saw a 1977 or 78 Rogers Big R kit (no matching Dyna). Four piece (originally a Londoner 5). It was in the Koa finish and in pretty decent shape. 22, 12, 13, 16 with correct tom mounting hardware. Street value would be about $500-600 max. They had it listed for $2999. The same store had a Ludwig Rockers kit (granted it was an early Rockers kit) for $999.
