Can anyone help me identify this drum set. They are supposedly 1977 Pearl but thats about all I can find out.

Pearl didn't introduce their "Maple Shells" drums into the American market until the release of their 1980 catalog. In 1977 they had fiberglass, wood-fiberglass and all-wood shells, but those all-wood shells were their cheaper level of drums.
The badge on your drum is the main badge they used during the 1970s, but it did carry over into 1980 (I guess until they ran out of them; Ludwig was good at that, so why not Pearl? :) ). By 1981 they were using the newer badge that had room for a serial number.
The 1970s hardware also carried over well into the 1980s.
In any rate, IMO your drum is a 1980 Pearl, and not from 1977. Unless this was out of their European or Asian markets... and then I'll be the first to admit I don't know...

That is a big help! I was looking at the badge in figuring that they were 1977. Anyone have any idea if these sets are worth much?
I think these are the ET(Earth Tone) series.
