I have a Pearl set that has a badge on the kick that reads : Thunder-King"67"

I am trying to find more info on it like what year they(are they really from 67 ?),type of wood, etc...

it also has a badge that reads "Rossini"

Kick, high, mid, and floor tom with a red tiger eye wrap on the shells.

Any help is much appreciated.

Lugs are called Battleship lugs....not used for very long - only 5 years or less as far as I understand. Your tom mount is upside down. I have a kit with the exact same hardware.

Not sure if those badges are original.....limit of my expertise.

Sure someone will chime in here soon with help - like Jonnistix or Mikey777.

Jonnistix lives right near you - he is a great resource for MIJs. PM him and make a new friend.

Thanks for the info. Im not sure what you mean by the Tom mount being upside down is there a pic some where that shows how it should be ?

You said the lugs where only use about 5 yrs do you happen to know about when ?

Yeah, those lugs were likely (this is a guess) were used between 67-72, so the Thunderking 67 thing could be totally original and legit. If we keep posting on here every couple days, eventually some more knowlegable guys will show up. PM jonnistix in the meantime.

I am attaching a pic of the mount upside up.

Thanks for the pic now I understand, the longer part of the mount rod should go into the the tom not the kick.

Cool to know about the battleship lugs too.

I did PM jonnistix the other day but just haven't heard back from him yet.
