My wife got crafty this year for Christmas and made a couple people homemade gifts. In addition to sewing she also made coasters which turned out very nice. With the left over supplies she was even able (and willing) to make me a couple of personalized ones. I whipped up the actual graphic, which if you haven’t noticed was inspired by the Gretsch drum logo; although I do not play Gretsch I’ve always thought that logo was neat. She assembled and did all the messy stuff with the glue and sealer, etc. Cost for material per coaster was under $2.00 (4”x4”ceramic tile, felt, glue/sealer). Someday these will make a great addition to my music room, if I ever buy a house large enough for such. What do you think? Cool?
