Finally got a chance to clean up the wood snare. After digging some more, I'm thinking this one is actually the Universal Concert Snare shown in the 1941 catalog.

Still looks to have a one ply shell with rerings, but having the wound snares and no patent pending on the strainer makes me think it's this one. Here's the shell cleaned up with a coat of wax:

A couple pictures of the whole drum reassembled. One of the hoop clips did break when I tightened the tension rods, so waiting on a replacement there.
