Picked up a Slingerland SRK and need... Last viewed: 23 hours ago

Picked up a Slingerland Student RK yesterday and the arm is missing for the throw off.

Any ideas how to get a reproduction? I ordered the Gibraltar 3 pt repro as a stop gap measure which only fits the top 2 holes but would like to fix the existing 3 pt throw.

Thanks, saw that on FB as well. Not sure but I think I need a entire throw as it won't stay engaged when I try to move what I have, never had a working 3 pt so I don't know how it should look...

you could just get someone to make one for you. It's a fairly simple design. I had one made for my Carlton (which is near identical to the 3pt Slingerland throw) I sent the guy the arm off my RK which turns out is a bit longer than the SRK arm so looks a bit oversized. It'd be a good stop gap for your drum and cost very little from memory

Yeah, I can fashion something to put on but it seems even when trying to put it into the snare position it just won't stay so I think I need a entire 3 pt strainer unfortunately. Never had a 3 pt to compare this one with to see what's up. I have a Gibraltar style RK showing up today which I know only fits the top two holes but that will work good enough for me so I can play this snare :)
