I just returned from an old antique shop with a drum case that looks about a hundred years old! Anyway, inside was this unusual looking drum, but after I pulled it out and reached deep into the case to make sure I didn't overlook anything, I grabbed this "thing" and thought it was a giant spider or crab! It felt like it was pinching my fingers and going to bite! I jumped so high my head hit the ceiling! Never seen anything like it - can anyone here please tell me what this thing is?
