Hey everyone! I picked up this old kit that has no makers plate or anything, I fixed it up but I can't figure out the model, not sure if it's from japan though, says it on the snare, and it has the vintage bow tie tension rods on the bass and tone mods on snare and floor tom. Please help!

It is most certainly a stencil kit, Imported. here is a whole section on these type of drums. http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/ scroll to the bottom.

How much do you think this would go for? I was selling for $375 since the tension rods on the front are not original hardware

Both kits with middle re-rings that I have owned were made by Pearl. The last one that I still have is a Bollero w/ oval foil badges. I really like those stencil kits with re-rings!

I think 375 is just a bit pricey.They were made by the thousands by Pearl and Hoshino to nade a few in Japan in the 60's 70's.Not the best construction or hardware.They are 3 ply luan,probabley the cheapest wood you can use in drum construction.If the wrap were original and interesting,you might get that or close to it on a VERY good day.
