Hi,

This is a Noble & Cooley snare drum. What a wierd snare, looks kinda like a toy drum. Any idea of the year or any value? Any information helpful. Thanks

What does the badge say?

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is it insane to practice?

I don't see a snare mechanism on it. Not a snare.

N&C started out making toy drums and still do. They did not start making their high end pro snare drums until about 1983 or 4. What you have is probably a toy.

If mine eyes do not deceive me, there's a s-strand snare wire permanently mounted on the inside of one of the heads.

NOW...with all of this said....I look at this drum an say "hmmmm...old metal shell with NO DRILL HOLES other than badge....good single flanged hoops....hmmmmm...."

It has the basic materials for making a cool snare drum out of. BUt as far as historical value, not much at all. Maybe worth $30 or so...
