not trying to be a smart alleck, but if the drum was worth $70 more to you why didn't you bid $70 more? It was worth $70 more to the other person so that's the way it goes.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
All I use is snipe bids. It makes no sense to do it any other WAY. I put in my price and the program snipes with 2 seconds left. I don 't have time to sit by a computer waiting for an auction to end.

Go to ezsniper. They give you three snipe bids to try it out. That was 10 plus years ago for me and I'm still using that program. On paper you may have lost by $70 but because of how bidding works, it may have been another $500 before you actually outbid your opponent.

Isn't sniping dangerous when shill bidding's going on? I see it all the time, especially w/ v. drums, & always drop out no matter what if I sense it going on,
Chris
Sniping is only dangerous if you do stupid bids. I only bid my max and click snipe. If the bidding goes higher than my bid then my snipe doesn't go thru.
