Hey everyone,

For a long time now I have been practising with my practise pad (Evans realfeel double sided 12") on my snare drum. So I can change between snare drum practise and pad practise.

Could the practise pad laying on my snare drum do any damage on my ludwig supra?

I do the same thing and haven't had a problem with it damaging anything on my snare drums. I do this for practicing rudiments, etc. on the pad, but when I still want to hear the response of snares.

No problem at all. You might discolor a drum head but that would be about it.
