Pre-serial Ludwig COB Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hi all,

Priced for quick sale... pre-serial Ludwig Chrome Over Brass (COB) 14" x 5" snare drum. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. Puresound wires, all else is original. One tiny dimple (took a bump) in one of the panels, otherwise clean and perfect.

These buggers have been selling regularly on fleabay for $1000. + shipping and Paypal fees. As I already mentioned, I am pricing this one for a quick sale.

$850.00 + shipping (PRICE FIRM - Don't even ask.)

Sorry, I never do this, but I simply cannot offer a refund or return on this item. I already have plans for the $ and it will be spent the second it hits my hot little hands. I want to buy a matching J-fest for my pre-serial SBP Hollywood kit. Got one in mind, just waiting for the funds to buy it.

As always, first come, first served. Get your piece of Ludwig history now, before somebody else scoops it up.

I'll be more than happy to email pictures to serious buyers.

PM me if you're actively looking for a COB and ready to make a purchase. I'm closing the thread so it doesn't turn into a four page discussion. Please use the PM feature if you're interested in buying the drum. We'll go from there. If you don't know me, check my feedback in the General section under; Seller Feedback.

I've opened up the thread. I need to get this drum sold and bump the ad back to the top every once in awhile. If it gets buried too deep in the for sale section it'll lose the visibility I need to get it sold... so, Bump!

I really don't want to, I LOVE this drum, but Mike Layton turned me on to a pre-serial SBP J-fest that matches my 63' kit perfectly and the only way I can afford it is if I sell the COB. I only have a two day window of opportunity to buy the J-fest so I'm kinda scrambling to get it sold. (Ergo the low asking price.)

If I can't sell the COB in time, I'll take it off-sale in two days and be ok with it. I really want the matching J-fest though. It's a real beauty and I don't have to tell you what those old ones sound like. But I'm good either way.
