These only come around about once a month or so. As a matter of fact, there is no other offered right now on the market (Ebay, Reverb, GC, Musicgoround).
Not looking to gouge anyone though - looking to give a real good deal. The last one to sell (on Ebay) that is like this (patina, original condition) went for $189 plus shipping. Too steep? Read on.
Mine offered here is in most excellent condition - and has original ink on it ("THIN"). My guess is that it has never been cleaned - as the original finish/look of the cymbal can be seen on much of the bottom/belly of the cymbal.
This weighs in at 970grams - which makes it very thin for this model.
At the same time, the sound - which really impresses me (first time I have ever seen one of these in person) is that it is all wash! This also is on the bright side (compared to my 404s - which you would think would be brighter being B8). To be clear, this (B20) is brighter than my 404s (B8). This cymbal reminds me of an A-Custom in sound.
Only one little flea bite - which, to the naked eye looks like a dirt spot because it is so small. Otherwise the edge is nice and smooth all around.
Mounting hole is perfect.
A couple splatter/spot stains on the underside.
See pics, which includes a view of the underbelly where the stamp is - evidently can be seen due to the thinness of the cymbal.
I understand why these go for big money, as it really is a beautiful sounding cymbal - makes me wish I had a whole set of these if I had no bounds.
Like I said - not looking to gouge anyone....
