aHi I have the xpk kit which to my un derstanding i s inner and outer birch and middle plies are eucalyptus. does anyone know about these drums? has anyone recorded with them. any info woud be appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a 'Royal Ace' snare drum if it's wooden with parallel action (I'm currently rennovating two).
