Price Check - WFL / Ludwig snare Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Came across this on CL listed for $200 obo. I can't tell if it's WFL or Ludwig but it looks to be in good condition. May just need a good cleaning. Is $200 fair on this?

Looks like a Ludwig Blue Oyster Pearl Super Classic. The throwoff looks to be nickel and maybe the rest of the hardware chrome. Better get it quick.

Sent the seller a message, hopefully I'll hear back. I thought it was a good price, but I haven't had much experience with these.

Much like a Jazz Festival. They are usually 5.5" depth. Jazz Festivals are anywhere from 5"'-5.5". Jazz Festivals use the P83 strainer as opposed to the P87 strainer. Of course, it could always be a JF with the strainer swapped but would require an extra hole or two. That wrap makes that a very desirable drum though.

What year would that be? Perfect wrap match for my 60s blue oyster kit, but that's earlier, isn't it? 50s?

Arrange a meet and show up with the money.

Inspect and go from there.

It would have to be in VERY rough shape not to be worth the $200. If that were Black oyster it would be worth at least a grand, probably more. Blue oyster should be less valuable but still seem to command pretty good money.
