Maybe $2,000 -awesome snare.

Am I missing something that while I love Slingerlands but are these special?

$4000 is the 'asking price'. Makes you wonder how low he will actually go on the price.

4 Grand?...no way in hell!...I wouldn't give 4K for that set even if it had a freeze dried sample of Buddy's DNA!

IMO, on a good day the drums (as a shell pack) are worth $800-$900, and the Ludy SS (depending on condition) $250-$350. My Guess-ta-ment is based on these beautiful babies being in A+ shape. If they're road warriors & beat up, I might go $750-$800 combined.

Your estimate is a bit low, it's not a shell pack, it includes pedals, stands, and Zildjians the hi-hat. Assuming those are not crap Z's like Planet Z or something, I'd say it's fair to add a couple hundred to your estimate. I'd say $1100-1200, I agree on the $4 gs though, somebody send Saddam a parka, Hell just froze over.

sweet bejeus . you know what you can buy for 4 grand , you can do much better than that . still it is a very nice kit but it would be nicer at 1000/1200 if your looking for slings there always real deals to be found .
