one minute i think the economy is in a dive than i get a deal or sell a deal, the prices for the average colors in the vintage drum market r down because no one wants them so no competitive bidding but the rare colors /brands are still commanding hi dollars! my business in restoration has tanked as iam downsizing greatly so maybe it will bounce back but not any time soon....

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Though, I am concerned about those folks, and I know many, who have spent down there savings due to lay offs or lost their business and are having a tough time getting back to work. That's it on this topic for me. Time to play my old drums and be thankful that after 40 years I got the Ludwigs I wanted in 1967. I am cool now!
Sounds good to me. I'm turning off my work computer now and heading home to play my own Downbeat set that I ordered new in 1967 and restored last year with knowledge gained from this forum. Thanks to all who so freely share their wisdom. Enjoy your weekends!
