Question about a dynasonic snare Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Loading...

Hi everyone, i have a late 60s/early 70s Rogers dynasonic snare, when i took off the bottom head and snare frame, below the throw-off, right before the bearing edge on the bottom side, there is a small hole and another one opposite it, again this is on the bottom side of the drum. just wondering if this is original or an extra hole, a friend is borrowing the drum right now but when i get it back next week, i want to sell it, and list it accurately. Thanks

Most think that this was used to suspend the shell as it was plated. My Superten has similar as does my English Dyna.

Normal for the shells. Powertones can also have them.
