Question about a Slingerland three point strainer Last viewed: 1 hour ago

in the parts break down in the catalog there are no washers listed or shown. But to make it work properly now I see nothing wrong in placing a washer if needed.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Installed a washer, had to enlarge the hole a bit but it did the trick, can't even see it!

This is a great drum, the nickle hardware is just about perfect, missing the bottom screw for the strainer.

No muffler?? And would this be considered the student model?

Thanks

The head that was on mine when I got it was an old looking weathering ambassador, mayby 1st gen? late 50s, or 60s? (old Ludwig on snare side) original snares where really bent etc(have kept them) I don't think it had been used since then so someone probably needed to put the washer on back then. I love this kind of OCD!

From lucky

Yeah, they are good. I might just put a washer there. This is a 7x14 mahogany three ply, eight lug with clips, student radio king?? All nickle hardware. Ordered new heads and wires but man, even with the old heads and stretched out wires this thing is fatttttt!!

Best bang for the buck out there....

I have a few, none have disappointed me.
