You are welcome, just FYI watch the MP3 player. As I said that's how I blew my speakers. Keep the MP3 player at a lower volume and DON'T turn it up. See the thing is when you use a Cd player, VCR, squeeze box them send a signal out that the receiver is able to amplify correctly, a set voltage, amperage, MP3 player doesn't. When you use the ipod, computer, any other device that amplifies its own signal you really start to mess with how the receiver properly works.
You can very very easily have the MP3 player turned up loud then turn your stereo up to a reasonable volume and you will blow them. You start to make the receiver push I believe its called square waves and that's how you end up eventually burning out the coils. Mine only took 2 min into a song and they were done.
Anyway just be careful with it, specially if you plan on carrying the speakers over to a new receiver. When you get ready to actually build a new system send me a PM and I could show you a few things. Doesn't mean you gotta get it but its what I would do with my setup if i could redo.
