Question! For the Tony Williams geeks... Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Please I need the sizes on the SS BADGE Gretsch set he used on the early 80's. The yellow one with either black or chrome hoops. By the videos on Youtube they look like:

9x13,10x14 racks

14x14,16x16,16x18 floors

14 (or 16) x24 Bass

and 6,5x14 snare but I need confirmation on these

A friend thinks the snare was 8x14 so I need to be sure

Thanks for helping on this!

Iam not a Tony williams geek.. But you do have the drum sizes almost right racks 13",14", floors 14'',16'',18'' snare was a 6.5x14 bass drums were 14x22 or 14x24...The Drum Dr. in holloywood used to store his drums so i did get to check out his sets...Mikey

I grabbed just up the street from me, a very Swiss Cheesed TW Canary Yellow G kit shortly after Tony died.

I said to the guy when I was buying them (for parts mainly!) "Tony Williams just died recently"....

He went........"Tony Who?"
