Question re: Tom mount for Ludwig 1942 'Victory' kit Last viewed: 10 hours ago

I recently acquired a set of 1942 WFL (Ludwig & Ludwig) "Victorious Drums" with a 1941 'Super Ludwig' snare. I got the four drums only (26" bass, 16 x 16" floor tom, 13" mounted tom, and 14 x 8" snare!) No hardware.

I want to turn this into a playable set without harming the original drums which are in incredible shape (even the original calfskin heads!). I do not need to replace hardware with original hardware. After market hardware is fine.

My problem is trying to figure out how the tom was mounted to the bass drum. I have included pictures of what I have to work with. (3 pics of the bass drum and one pic of the tom) I'm hoping someone knows, or can figure out how to mount the tom without drilling new holes for modern mount systems.

I'm new to vintage drums. This set sounds incredible, despite being more than 70 years old. The 'Victorious Drums' were built during wartime, when metal was sacrificed for the war effort. Except for the 1941 snare drum, these drums have rosewood hoops and lugs!

I appreciate any help or input members may have.
