Aluminum? I wouldn't guess. I'll post a few pics of the claws after they're soaked and cleaned up. I was under the impression they where NOB? I don't think aluminum was used on drums like these.

nevermind...You might be right about nickel over brass. I thought for sure they were aluminum, but, here is your drum and the description aligns with your opinion.

Ha, no hard feelings. I'm letting them soak in Krown's ''The sollution'', and within a few sprays they looked quaisi-brand new Walking and identical to the hardware off of a Universal model bass drum. I must say the stuff works great. Again, another promise of posting pictures, but yeah, if i can i willCool Dude
