Questionable Listing Tag Line - Opinions? Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Okay, so I'm out in the back yard this afternoon, polishing up an old kit I'm getting ready to list locally, and the wife comes out for a smoke. She laughs, and suggests a tag line for my listing that I thought was brilliant, but when she realized I was seriously considering it, she thought it might actually be a deterrent. She then suggested that I ask you guys about it, and so here I am. After all the specifics on the kit, the questionable line is; '[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]Lovingly hand-polished with my Calvin Klein underpants[/COLOR]'. So.... would that put anybody off ya think? And if I have to put any reference to there being no skid marks, or anything to that affect, then I'd say it's a bust. Thanks.

Back in the late 1990's when Barry Sanders was at the peak of his running-back carreer with the Detroit Lions, I placed a one line ad in the local paper.

"Ford pickup truck- looks like Barry Sanders - Runs like Barry Sanders". Sold it to the very first caller.

Okay - appreciate the feedback. I'm veering towards including it. I did make a slight revision though, to try to avoid any negative connotations. How's this;

'Lovingly hand-polished with my, (retired, but clean) Calvin Klein underpants.'...Still work? Thanks guys, I can always count on you.
