Loading...

I have a set of "Outland" drums,on the badge it also says"Full Power Drums" they are made of either fiberglass or resin and are VERY funky shapes, painted a cool metal flake red.I picked up the set today but have not been able to find out anything about them at all.Where they are made, when they were made if they are worth anything?

If anyone her knows of these please get back to me ,you may reply here or better is [email protected].

Thanks in advance.

Ken

I read they were made in France.

What do the rods thread into? Internal threaded sleeves?

No lugs visible.

Very unusual. Similar to "North" drums.

If i re-call right on these drum. They were made in Italy or France or in that part of the world. These are somewhat copys of "North" drums that were made in the U.S.A...Your set was made sometime in the 80's they used Tama copys of mounts on them. The claws on the bass drum are copys of 70's Rogers ones.Yes these drums have no lugs, the T-rods screw into a insert that is made intp the rim of the shell i think these were also metric threaded T-rods but i can not recall..Still a cool set i have seen a few of these set's in the pass...Mikey

I have two questions,

What does the snare look like and how would it work ?

Why is there a cut-out where the BD pedal goes ?

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this drum set was the horn section being those big long ten foot tube horns from Ireland !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

There is no Snare , and the cut out is actually just a broken section of the hoop.

As of now I have what you see in the photos but I am going to refurbish them which is why I am looking for info about them so I can get a good idea of what all the parts are, dare to dream maybe an original photo of them.So if anyone has more info PLEASE send it my way.
